Last year I partnered up with Jurlique for their Activating Water Essence Event, a product I still love and use regularly to this day; If you're new to Jurlique make sure to pop by and read my previous post about my Jurlique Skincare Regime. A few weeks a go, I was invited down to Jurlique's New Oxford Street Store for an exciting floral inspired evening to celebrate the launch of their new Herbal Recovery Advanced Day Cream.
The evening started off with a tour around their new store situated on one of the busiest and stressful streets in London; However, once inside it feels like you're a world away! The boutique has a calm and tranquil feel to it that hits you as soon as you walk in and continue's all the way to the treatment room in the back. At the back of the store, the large treatment room can accommodate up to two guests; perhaps a mum and daughter duo, you and your bestie or couples. It's a wonderfully relaxing space ( I almost wanted to fall asleep on the treatment bed ) and is a great treat after a day out in London, or maybe just to treat your partner after dragging him around Oxford St Primark for half the day. There was plenty of champagne ( with a sprinkling of edible flowers) and canape's, along with some healthy beetroot juices. We then had a demonstration on how to make the most of your skincare regime featuring the new Advanced Day Cream.
The second half of the evening had Jurlique pair up with JamJar Flowers to provide us with a Flower Arranging masterclass. Anyone who's lived with me can probably testify that I'm obsessed with flower arranging (especially when it gets to peony season) I find it so relaxing, especially when I was a student! The girls were so friendly and patient with us (note: did not find it as relaxing when my bouquet starting looking less like a bloggers dream more looking like a bush of every-flower-available) kudos to them who handled my mini floral breakdown. They taught us how to pick our flowers, how to prepare them, and how to create a spiral stem in a fan formation. Jam Jar Flowers hold classes themselves so whether you a blogger wanting floral prop skills or someone who wants to spruce up their home, their classes are for everyone!
I saw some old friends and made some new ones too it would make my day if you popped over and had a look on their blogs as they are fabulous!
